The Comité Colbert is an exclusive club founded in 1954 by Jean-Jacques Guerlain – the creator of a famous cosmetics company. Until recently, the committee brought together only exclusive French brands-such as Boucheron, Cartier, Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Hotel Ritz, Louis Vuitton, Veuve Clicquot champagne, and prestigious cultural institutions such as Musée du Louvre, the Paris Opera and the Comédie-Française (French national theatre). It wasn’t until 2011 that this group was joined by four European brands including German Leica and Montblanc.
In 2012, Dr Irena Eris was also accepted among the cultural institutions and global brands that work to expand and promote ideas associated with luxury, beauty and exclusiveness. Dr Irena Eris is the only Polish brand admitted to the group of European members of the Comité Colbert. ‘Our desire was to open the door to luxury brands from other European countries to strengthen the voice of our sector – this is an advantage of increased competitiveness – in the European Union and we are delighted to accept Dr Irena Eris, who shares the values of Comité Colbert’.
